So, where does the M1 Ultra (with 32 Core GPU) roughly fit in compared to newer models? Below, you can see that it’s faster than M2 Max or lower Macs. But then both the M3 Max M4 Pro are almost surprisingly close (~13% to 15% overall slower) to it. So you’ll have to decide if you want a newer machine or willing to save some $ with an older chip (but have the bragging rights of having an Ultra). Decisions, decisions, decisions.
